A Look at The Educational Views of Ahmad Ghazali in The Field of Mystical Manners (Case study: Resale-Al Toyour, Mokatebaat, Resaleh Al-Einieh & Vasaya)

Abstract

Ahmad Ghazali is one of the great Sufis of the 5th and 6th centuries of Hijri that different branches of Sufism have benefited from his worldview and teachings, directly and indirectly. According to the belief of most of the mystics, in addition to the external sciences, he also mastered the esoteric sciences and in the field of practical mysticism, he was considered one of the pioneers of this profession. A careful consideration of Abul Fattuh's works reveals that he has presented innovative ideas about the foundations of theoretical mysticism and many teachings about the path of mysticism and with this arrangement, he has been able to provide a comprehensive program for seekers, according to his inner discoveries.
This study, which is based on library studies and is done with a descriptive-analytical method, examines Ahmad Ghazali's views on mystical manners and its educational points and innovations, relying on the collections of Resale al-Toyour, Mokatebaat, Resaleh Al- Einyeh and Wasaya. The results of the research reveals that Abul Fattuh has expressed the journey of the seekers to God's court in an allegorical and symbolic manner and in this story, there is also talks about the needlessness of God, divine grace, the order of death, divine attraction and care. In his other works, he has written about divine inspirations, seize of time, leave the hijab, mention of truth, carnal desires and rejection of the world, the idea of purity and the criterion of divine justice.
