Abstract

Most themes in Sufi anecdotes regard the Kramat of Olia. This means a huge amount of mystical biographies and some Sufi books that can all be categorized under Kramat's Tales. These tales have always been the subject of rejection or acceptance by various groups of their audience. Some of the people who believe in Keramat not only accept the stories but also try to forge Keramat instances in the same format as for Sufi elders. On the other hand, some deny Kramat. Some contemporary scholars have argued about it. They have either openly opposed to it or somehow denied the realism of such anecdotes or imposed limitations on them. In this article, after a review of the motivations for keramat forgeries, it becomes clear that, despite their dignity, it is possible to recognize the Kramat of Olia as mystical realities.
