An attempt has been made in this study to investigate the influence of simultaneous presentation of correct responses (positive input) and incorrect responses (implicit negative feedback) as a more effective technique than merely correct responses on restructuring the syntactic knowledge of L2 learners.
Sixty intermediate L2 learners were given two different instructional treatments after they had received a pretest. The pretest included only four grammatical features; preposition, adjective clause, tense and wh_question. The control group was given the positive input while the experimental group received both positive input and implicit negative feedback.
